Commander Module for FC36M & FC36MV

The CM-FC36(M/MV) Commander module (CM) is a remote ‘Human Machine Interface’ (HMI) programming and display console. It incorporates a simple keypad to input data and a console that displays all the functional information relating to the firing circuit settings. Connections are made by a standard RJ45 lead.
Once connected, all functional parameters and settings may be configured on either theFC36M or FC36MV firing circuit.

DMFC-36 Single/Dual Cycle Burst Firing Circuit Range


This DMFC36 driver module has been designed to offer Phase Angle Control, Burst Fire Control or Single-Cycle/Dual-Cycle firing of thyristor controllers driving resistive loads. In Single-Cycle or Dual-Cycle mode, these modules use the fastest burst rates possible, providing very accurate control and minimising Harmonic distortion.

Designed to be used in conjunction with a thyristor assembly or supplied on one of United Automation’s complete thyristor controllers, the DMFC36 offer a highly versatile and cost effective solution in a wide variety of applications.

This three phase microprocessor based firing circuit is a populated printed circuit board primarily designed for incorporating into three phase power control assemblies for the control of thyristors (SCR’s). The unit is available in a supply voltage of 110V / 230V / 400V and comes with din housing. Phase wiring installation is kept to a minimum, with simple gate/cathode outputs and no necessity for external phasing supply transformers. It has a wide range of selectable features, as listed below.

STOM1 & 2 Dual Mode Power Modules

The STOM1 is a microprocessor based power controller, with a built in power device that is capable of controlling up to 25A at voltages up to 440V ac. The STOM1 has two types of power control, Phase Angle and Burst Firing, either can be selected separately.
The STOM2 is a microprocessor based trigger module capable of driving most power thyristors. The STOM2 has two modes of triggering control, Phase angle and Burst firing either can be selected seperately.
The module can also be used for soft starting in Phase Angle mode and it will automatically switch to Burst Fire mode when the control signal has reached apreset Ievel. The control will remain in the Burst Fire State even if the input signal drops below the preset IeveI. The STOM1 aIso has aramp up from coId, which can be set from 0 to 30 seconds. The controller will operate from a O to 5V dc or 4 to 20mA signal, these signal inputs are fully isolated and can be controlled from a Temperature Controller or PC etc. The STOM1 providesthe equipment designer with fIexibiIity in a wide range of applications.

Applications


Specifically designed for use with the FC36M and FC36MC Microprocessor-based three-phase firing circuits. Universally acceptable for AC, DC, resistive or most inductive loads via thyristor pairs on three phase assemblies.
